‘Abdu’l-Bahá insisted on paying all of His expenses

We drove home through the village, thus reaching ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s house first. On approaching the house He spoke to me very earnestly about the bills coming to Him. He insisted that they must be sent to Him.
